Tilden Community Hospital Welcomes New Doctor    As part of its mission in providing high quality health care, Tilden Community Hospital and Rural Health Clinic are pleased to welcome Dr. Tom Fennessy to its staff of professional practitioners.    Dr. Fennessy received his medical degree in the year 2000 from the University of Nebraska Medical Center College of Medicine, and completed his Family Practice Residency at the Broadlawns Medical Center in Des Moines, IA.  In 2003, he came to Norfolk and presently holds the position of Emergency Room Staff Physician at Faith Regional Health Services. Dr. Fennessy is a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians and the Nebraska Medical Association.   Arlene Hoffman, President of the Board of Directors for the hospital, added, “We are deeply grateful to Dr. Doug Laflan for his supervision and medical coverage for the past seven years. He has been a great source of information and knowledge and we appreciate his kindness and professionalism. However, Dr. Fennessy presented us with an opportunity that can lead us to a full time family practice doctor and we felt that is was imperative that we take advantage of such a situation. Dr. Fennessy will only enhance and expand the wonderful quality care that Derek and Julie already provide.”   Dr. Fennessy currently resides in Norfolk with his wife, Janelle and their 6 children.   The Tilden Community Hospital staff is pleased to welcome Dr. Fennessy and encourages the community to do the same. Dr. Fennessy began seeing patients at TCH Rural Health Clinic on August 1st and will be present at the clinic for two half days each week.
