Derek Nelson, PA-C is a 2003 graduate of the University of Nebraska Medical Center Physician Assistant Program.  He grew up in a small town in southwest Wyoming, called Kemmerer.  After high school, he attended Chadron State College, where he received his Bachelor's degree, then moved to Omaha where he worked as a phlebotomist before attending Physician Assistant school.  He has been a part of the Tilden Hospital and Clinic since February of 2004.  Derek and his wife, Nicole reside in Tilden with their four children.

Julie Wilhelm, PA-C has been with TCH since January 2006.  Born and raised in rural Nebraska, Julie graduated from Seward High School in 1999 and went on to earn her Bachelor's degree in biology and chemistry from the University of Nebraska-Kearney, then went on to earn her Master's degree in Physician Assistant studies from the University of Nebraska Medical Center in Omaha.  Julie resides in Tilden with her husband, Chris Rempe.

Lisa Montgomery, Nurse Practitioner, is new to the TCH family.  She has currently started seeing patients at the hospital and clinic.  Lisa grew up in Plainview, Nebraska with her parents, Barry and Lou Steinkraus.  She went to college at UNMC and received her nursing degree in 2004.  Lisa worked for four years at Faith Regional Health Services in Norfolk and for one year at the hospital in Plainview.  This past May, Lisa received her masters degree in nursing from UNMC as a family nurse practitioner.  She and her husband, Travis, along with their son will be residing in Tilden.
